Order in the Court
I received a speeding ticket in Wakefield a couple of months ago. I decided to dispute the ticket. I took Ashlea with me to court and we got there early. This court room is extremely small. I took a picture of Ashlea as the judge before anyone came in. To my surprise Judge Carlson turned out to be a female. I asked her if I could take her picture with Ashlea and showed her the pic I had already taken of Ashlea as Judge Carlson. She thought it was cute. Rick James is the Clay County attorney and was such a big help to me when adopting Ashlea. He said he still has a drawing up in his office that Ashlea drew for him and his Wife when Ashlea was about 3 years old. I will be forever grateful for all Rick and Natalie did for me.

Singing in the rain.
Its a hit
Ashlea is playing T-ball and on the Clay Gourmet team. She is getting pretty good at catching and hitting the ball. Maybe next year it will be the B's.

Dolls and Lions?
Monday was a busy day. Ashlea went to vacation bible school. I picked her up along with a friend. This is Sara. They have known each other since pre-school but never been in the same class. Sara and Ashlea played with dolls. Sara's mom picked her up about 4:15. We had ceramics at 4:30. At 6:30 we were invited to attend the Morganville Lion's club meeting. They had a nice pot-luck. We will probably join.

Sunday drive
It was such a nice morning. We went out early to work in our flower beds. Roger Clark was out mowing and stopped to say HI. Ashlea wanted to go for a ride. Roger runs the lumber yard here in Morganville. He has been a very good father figure to Ashlea. He is going to help her make a bird house this summer.
