Baton contest February 20th. What shall she wear. Actually more than one event so she will probably wear the orange one for presentation and the blue one for marching

New camera at Chuck E. Cheese

We went to Topeka yesterday so I could get a new camera. I think it is going to be a good camera. much better so far but I've only taken 1 and Ashlea took a pic. of me.

fun week-end swimming

We needed to get out and play. Tired of the snow and cold so i rented a room in Abilene that had an indoor pool. The pool was very nice the room not so nice. We took Rylee and Lanie with us. The girls had fun swimming Sat aft. then we went to La Fiesta for Dinner, then back in the pool they went. Sun. morning we got up had breakfast then back in the pool they went. The Jacuzzi was pretty nice to have also.
I am putting pictures but they are not good. Soon a new camera

Tooth fairy comes again

Last night Ashlea lost another tooth. That makes 10 she has lost. She was really nervous about pulling this one. The tooth fairy came and gave her $6.00. WOW
Ashlea likes our new sheets so I made her a night shirt out of the bag they came in.
I sooooooooo need a better camera

ceramics

Ashlea and I are taking a ceramics class on Monday evenings. It is nice because it is here in Morganville. I have just painted a themometer . Now I have to wait till it is fired. I should get it back next Monday. Ashlea is working on a pair of teddy bear book ends.

Yesterday Ashlea got to go over to Lanie's and play. There has been no school for 2 days because of freezing weather. In the evening I took Zach, Trace, Lanie and Ashlea to the Rex theater to see the Princess and the Frog. Zach and Ashlea have been good friends since Ashlea was 2 years old and Zach was 4.

Piano and organ recital

Ashlea played very well despite the fact we were gone for 10 days and didn't have much time to practice. The recital was very nice. Mrs Germann has 22 students taking piano lessons from her now. I love the pipes for this organ.

Christmas

We had a nice Christmas despite the snow and blizzard. We didn't get to leave Christmas day for Pittsburgh. Susan and her family were all very helpful and gracious to us. Ashlea got to spend the night with her cousins Aliah, Annabelle, and Violet. The day before we left Ashlea got a nice package from Aunt Evelyn chock full of Hannah Montana stuff. While in Pittsburgh Ashlea got her hair done at a salon. She felt so special. A man named George gave her the treatment from the moment we got there. He offered her soda, coffee, or wine.
