Piercing contract
Ashlea has been asking to get her ears pierced again. I finally accepted providing she sign this contract stating she would not get her ears pierced anymore. She can not get her tongue, lips or eyebrows pierced. Here is the contract and it was witnessed by Anica who pierced her ears.

New and improved zoo park
We went to the zoo park and what a surprise. The last time we were there everything had been painted an ugly brown. Ashlea and I were sooo disappointed it didn't have the happy feeling of the colors that we were use to and looked drab. It must have been a primer, because now everything is painted bright and cheerful, including the benches and inside the spaceship. The painting was done by volunteers who donated their time and paint. This was the wives of the pipeliners that are laying pipe for the Canadian pipeline.

Bullies
We just saw a TV show called Green Screen Adventures. It is a show where kids write and draw pictures about anything they want. We watched a couple of the shows. The kids send in their story and the show puts it together as a play. The kids have written a large variety of subjects, from learning to tie laces, to jumping pizza man, to fantasy fairy tales. Ashlea decided to try her hand at it. We are going to submit it and see if her story gets picked to be put on the show.
